This is Halloween!

Go eat candy. Go watch monster movies. Go put on a costume that demands a large prop and then lose that prop ten minutes into the party. Go pretend children in plastic outfits are frightening. Especially when they growl. Go affect a Hungarian accent. Go scream like Jamie Lee Curtis. Go now. Before the moon rises.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha.

Based on your usage here, I think "Moo-ha-ha-ha-ha" is preferred over "Bwa-ha-ha-ha."

But that's merely quibbling. The sentiment is just lovely.

Becky and I tried to find a copy of Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween -- two season classics -- in Manhattan on Saturday night. Nowhere to be found.

Oh, there were plenty of part IIs and part IVs in the used bins. But who wants that? Even Movies on Demand has opted for a selection of crap for Halloween.

We were bummed out.

However, the Birds was on AMC last night, saving us at the last moment.
