Didn't someone just tell us about a documentary about this...I found the book on Amazon: "Fired!:Tales of the Canned, Canceled, Downsized, & Dismissed" by Annabelle Gurwitch.
I don't know if the film is out yet, but it looks pretty good!
Even as a freelancer where the projcet ended [therefore you were not technically "fired"], this still has to register as on of the worst ways to be let go!!!
Did you get fired by the IT guy??????
by the way- i was the one who told you guys about "Fired" & i loved it!
