Touched Down

Already there's cool machines.

I've never flown halfway around the world before. The amount of body funk from your fellow passengers on a 14 hour flight is matched only by your resentment of them.

We crossed the international date line which technically meant the trip took 38 hours. Felt like it. Then it was an hour train trip and a fifteen minute subway ride into Tokyo and our hotel. The view from the street is everything I expected. We've been up now for 24 hours so it'll be a quiet first night.

Jon, take it easy. It's just a vending machine. But Japan is definitely a weird and perverted place that's bursting with good comedy material.
