Allergies

Mine are horrible. In fact, I can't remember them being worse. I'm on constant Claritin and yet I can't sleep from congestion. And, according to pollen.com, it's gonna stay that way for a while.

When the pollen count gets this high, I might as well be sick. I don't want to perform, I don't want to look for freelance work, I don't even want to eat. Nature is in bloom and I'm receding. Seems unnatural somehow.

How are you coping? Let me know.

The worst of it for me was last month. I had to call in sick and stay home. That sucks. Allergies suck in general because they're the most irratating of sicknesses. Like, you get a cold, you take medicine, you get over it. Allergies come in and go on a random time schedule. They're like the Al Queda of sickness, you never know when they're going to pop up. You have an idea, but you really don't know how bad your going to get it. : (

I'm allergic to Mondays. - Cathy

I'm like Dave, the symptoms come and go at random. The only constant for me during allergy season are dark circles under my eyes (to which people constantly ask me, "did you get in a fight") and a sluggish, tired feeling that goes away after an hour in an air conditioned room.

Although, it may just be giant Japanese intestinal parasites.

I'm like Dave and Murphy and Walker: the allergies come and go at random and I like the picture.

I'm taking the CVS version of Claritin, which is working very well. Though I do have a constant, painful erection that sneezes occasionally.

Have an air filter going, especially in your bedroom. Change your pillow cases/sheets often, too, during pollen season. Also, take a shower before you go to bed - your hair picks up a lot of pollen during the day.
